Employers
During past years, BRC students have worked for numerous attorneys, law firms and other organizations where their paralegal skills could be used. Many were internships that turned into jobs. An estimated 30 percent of our students are employed in a law office when they enroll at the college and plan to use their training for career advancement.
Attorneys who serve as internship supervisors are required to grade or evaluate the student. It has been extremely rare for a student to fail. To the contrary, most are employed by the firm when they complete their internship.
The attorneys, firms or organizations listed below were taken from jobs reported to the college by the students and internship evaluation forms submitted by the supervising attorneys. While serving the internship, the college staff conducts personal visits to inquire as to the student’s success at work. The reported success rate is remarkable. The college also does follow-up reports of graduates by means of surveys, personal interviews, and telephone calls.
